Continuing Medical Education (CME) or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) are some of the names of the process by which physicians ensure that they remain up to date with developments in their respective fields of expertise.
Depending on the country/region/state a physician works in, as well as their specialty and personal circumstances, their local accrediting body will have a set of guidelines that stipulate what sort of activities are deemed appropriate and how many CME points need to be accrued to maintain registration.
Radiopaedia allows its users to view a record of time spent of the site for CME/CPD purposes, and supporters can download a PDF report.
