Currarino triad

The Currarino triad (or ASP triad) is characterised by

anorectal malfomation or congenital anorectal stenosis
sacrococcygeal osseous defect
pre sacral mass
- e.g anterior sacral meningocoele

Epidermoid cysts of the central nervous system have also been associated ⁵.

Etymology

It was orignially described by Guido Currarino in 1981 ³
