Fetal atrial fibrillation

Fetal atrial fibrillation is a type of fetal tachyarrhythmia and usually has atrial rate of 400 beat per minute and a completely irregular ventricular rhythm.

Antanatal ultrasound - echocardiography

The artial contractions are usually too faint to be detected by M Mode ultrasound. An  irregular ventricular rate may be detected.
