The World Health Organisation (WHO) Classification of CNS tumours is the most widely accepted system. Latest revision has recently been published (2007) and is available as a complete summary pdf here. The number after the slash refers to biological behaviour, not WHO Grade. A A * refers to a 'new' tumour in the classification.
