An oval shaped intradural extramedullary lesion seen in intimate relation to the dorsal aspect of the spinal cord at the level of cauda equina extending from L2 to L4 level causing distention of the central canal and tethering of the cord. It appears high signal on both T1WI and T2WI with fat suppression, and with no enhancement post-contrast.
Spina bifida of L2, L3, L4, L5 vertebra.
