Presentation:

Non-traumatic Right thigh pain, Fever - Few days. Radiograph femur - Normal. Referred for ultrasound of local part - thigh.

Patient Data:

Age: 26 yrs
Gender: Male
Race: Indian/Pakistani
Modality: Ultrasound

Collection in vastus intermedius muscle. Irregular wall, central mobile echoes noted. Perilesional hypervascularity is present.

Abscess in vastus intermedius musle of the thigh.
