Presentation

Complaint of mild cognitive deficits. Patient has cirrhosis secondary to hepatitis B.

Age: 60
Gender: Male

MR images reveal bilateral T1 hyperintensities in basal ganglia and subthalamic nuclei. Also noted a bilateral globus pallidus calcification with blooming in gradient echo images.
