Acute SDH (MRI)
A thirty eight year old female was referred to rule out head injury.
T2 weighted axial images demonstrate a hyperintense extraaxial fluid collection along the right fronto-temporo-parietal region, in keeping with an acute subdural haemorrhage.
The morphology is similar to what is seen on CT .
There is mass effect with midline shift.
There is a scalp haematoma on the left side.
