Alveolar microlithiasis

Case Discussion:

A 30 year old female doctor had a routine chest xray done. Xray chest showed unnumerable, small, calcific density nodules spread throughout both lungs, more so in the lower zones. CT chest was done and showed widespread intraalveolar calcifications with lower lobe predominence. A diagnosis of Alveolar Microlithiasis made.
