Anterior labroligamentous periosteal sleeve avulsion (ALPSA)

Presentation:

MRI performed after reduced anterior shoulder dislocation.

Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Caucasian

Case Discussion:

The labral-ligamentous complex is displaced medially, rolling up itself underneath intact periosteum. The labrum is still attached to the capsule, but avulsed from the glenoid.
