Stranding is present in the right lower quadrant, below and medial to the cecum which is thick walled. The appendix can be seen tracking medially, to lie above the bladder. it is thick walled and enhancing. Previous right inguinal hernia repair noted.

Case Discussion
The patient went on to surgery which confirmed appendicitis.
