A cystic lesion is seen occupying the quadrigeminal cistern, following CSF signal in all pulse sequences in keeping with an arachnoid cyst. No significant mass effect identified.
Case Discussion
Incidental small arachnoid cyst in the quadrigeminal cistern, expressing CSF fluid signal in all pulse sequences with no mass effect on adjacent structures. Another known incidental asymptomatic lesion in quadrigeminal cistern is lipoma, which shows fat signals on MRI sequences.
