Lesion in the sphenoid bone in the region of the sphenoid sinus which is of fat density.
Case Discussion
Failure of pneumatization of the sphenoid bone is an anatomical variant which can be misinterpreted as pathology. It is a skeletal 'do not touch' lesion that does not require further investigation.
