Azygos anterior cerebral artery is an uncommon to rare variant seen in which the two A1 segments of theanterior cerebral artery (ACA) join to form a single trunk. As a result, noanterior communicating artery is present.

It is important to be aware that this variant is associated with numerous cerebral malformations and with berry aneurysms.
