Hard lump in the breast with nipple retraction

Patient Data:

Age: 68
Gender: Female
Race: Indian/Pakistani
Modality: Mammography

An irregular high density lesion with spiculated margins is seen in the retroareolar region, with associated architectural distortion and nipple retraction. Clustered microcalcifications are noted within the lesion. Few lymph nodes are seen in axilla.

Case Discussion:

This case depicts all characteristics of a BIRADS 5 Category lesion. Lesion was biopsied and proved to be infiltrating ductal carcinoma
