A finding in abdominal tumor staging scan.

The protocol was performed for cancer staging, the radiology technician did not extend images beyond the pelvis.

The study demonstrates enlargement of the vagina containing prolapsed bladder and uterus. There prolapse of the distal ureters, which are shown enlarged upstream.

Case Discussion

A prolapsed bladder occurs when the bladder droops into the vagina. The common cause is weakened front wall of the vagina.
