There is fusion of normal height C4-C5 vertebral bodies with loss of intervertebral disc space; posterior elements are not fused.

Case Discussion

Block vertebra is congenital verterbral anamoly in which there is fusion of two or more vertebral bodies secondary to failure of their separation.
