Breast cancer with lymphangitis carcinomatosa

Presentation:

Carcinoma Breast; abnormal chest radiograph. Asymptomatic patient; CT done after an abnormal chest radiograph (not shown).

Patient Data:

Age: 38
Gender: Female
Race: Indian/Pakistani
Modality: CT

CT reveals - mass in the left breast; medistinal adenopathy and features of lymphangitis carcinomatosa.

In addition scattered bony metastatic lesions are seen in dorsal vertebrae.

Case Discussion:

Lymphangitis carcinomaotosa is a common association with carcinoma breast.
