Bronchogenic cyst - mediastinal

Presentation

Patient presented for medical fitness chest assessment prior to commencement of a new job. Soon after he was involved in a RTA, from which he sustained a spinal injury.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Large thoracic mass on the post operative lateral spine - the known bronchogenic cyst.

x-ray

Review of the initial chest radiograph was taken for medical fitness purposes demonstrating a large right hilar mass. 

The hilum overlay sign is evident.

Cystic lesion in the right hilar region.
