Carcinoma of the cervix - stage IV with nephrostomy insertion

Presentation:

42 year old referred for investigation with vaginal bleeding

Patient Data:

Age: 42 years
Gender: Female

Images demonstrate a locally advanced cervical cancer (stage IV) involving anterior lower rectum with tumour approaching the urethra but without definite urethral invasion. 

Obstructiion of both lower ureters results in bilateral hydronephrosis, though still there is good enhancement of both kidneys. 

There is no distant metastatic disease

Bilateral percutaneous nephrostomy tubes under ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance.
