Peripheral neuropathy in type I diabetes mellitus. Foot deformity and gait disturbance with minor pain.

Destruction of the tarsometatarsal (Lisfranc) joint with dorsal subluxation of the medial cuneiform, 1st and second metatarsals. Periostal reaction and new bone formation at the 1st and 2nd metatarsals.
