Common bile duct stricture

Presentation

Post cholecystectomy with T-tube insertion. Failure duct clearance.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

T-tube cholangiogram performed.

Persistent filling defect in the distal duct in keeping with a CBD stone.

The distal CBD is narrowed, with proximal dilatation in keeping with a stricture ( and hence the stone situated at this segment of the duct ).
