renal parenchymal phase

CT IVP technique ie preliminary injection of 30 mls and delay of 20 mins followed by renal parenchymal phase using 70 mls of contrast.

Gross hydronephrosis with no residual cortical tissue = PUJ obstruction not multicystic dysplastic kidney as has it maintains a reniform shape
