Presentation

RUQ pain 3 days post laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

100ml Biliscopin infused over 30 minutes prior to CT scan

Contrast excretion into a normal caliber biliary tree. No choledocholithiasis. Conventional biliary anatomy. Leak of contrast from cystic duct stump into gall bladder fossa.

Case Discussion

CT cholangiography is an excellent technique for demonstarting bile duct pathology when liver function is normal or near normal.
