A well defined cystic lesion is seen within the bulk of muscle, which shows an echogenic scolex within.
Case Discussion
Cysticercus is relatively rare in soft tissue, except in endemic areas. They appear as cystic lesions with mural echogenic/calcific nodule.
USG shows a similar lesion in gastrocnemius muscle.
