DCIS : multifocal DCIS and multifocal IDC

Presentation:

Diagnostic mammogram left breast. Palpable mass laterally in the left breast.

Patient Data:

Gender: Female

Case Discussion:

This patient had  a palpable mass lateral in the left breast. The density far lateral in the left breast was a palpable IDC. A second smaller IDC is visible deeper to the first. Also demonstrated are multiple foci of DCIS calcification at sites in the breast. Typical DCIS calcifications.
