Presentation

Head trauma, now 'ringing' in left ear.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Large left jugular bulb. It is not a high riding bulb by definition since it does not extend cranial to the IAM. But, note the deficient sigmoid plate allowing the jugular vein to almost protruding into the middle ear.

Case Discussion

This is likely an incidental finding. Whether this had any clinical significance in this case is of doubt.
