Patient Data

Age: Neonate
x-ray

The patient is intubated with the tip of the ET tube at the cervicothoracic junction. The distal part of the NG tube is coiled with the tip approximately at the level of T6. There are multiple air filled loops in the left hemithorax with mediastinal shift to the right and ipsilateral lung hypoplasia. The tip of the umbilical venous catheter appears to be projected over the left upper quadrant, suggestive of herniation of the liver to the left.
