Presentation

Non-traumatic origin of backache.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Pelvis: 

  • right-sided pelvic tilt
  • status post laminectomy at the L4 and L5 levels
  • enthesophytes at the iliac crest and ischial tuberosities

Cervical spine lateral view:

  • osteopenia
  • ossification of the anterior longitudinal ligament from C2 to C7 levels

Dorso-lumbar spine lateral view:  

  • osteopenia  
  • status post laminectomy at L3, L4, L5 levels
  • anterolisthesis (grade 1) of L4 over L5
  • soft tissue ossification of the anterior longitudinal ligament from Th10 to L5
  • disc height reduction L4-5 and L5-S1
