Presentation

A man was referred for a follow-up MRI after spinal surgery for ependymomas of the filum terminale at L3 and L5.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Contrast enhanced MRI showed recurrent disease at both levels and a large drop metastasis in the sacral canal at S2.
