Arrow: 4 mm rectovaginal septal endometriosis implant, which has increased signal intensity on T1 FS imaging, corresponding to a palpable nodule felt along the posterior vaginal wall.

There is a 4 mm rectovaginal septal endometriosis implant, which has increased signal intensity on T1 FS imaging, corresponding to a palpable nodule felt along the posterior vaginal wall.

Rectovaginal septal lesions are located between the posterior wall of the vaginal mucosa & anterior wall of the rectum, separate from the cervix.
