Fibroadenolipoma

Case contributed by: Dr Hani Alsalam
Modality: Ultrasound
Modality: Mammo

Case Discussion:

A young female with right breast lump. Mammography was performed and showed a well-circumscribed,  oval mass containing both fat and soft-tissue density with a thin, radiopaque pseudocapsule. Thought this is typical for fibroadenolipoma (hamartoma), US was performed and showed this lesion containing fat. Presumed diagnosis of fibroadenolipoma was made based on the typical radiographic features.
