Presentation

The patient had a history of slipped and fall from a truck 2 days ago, his left leg was trapped inside the truck and his whole body was hanging, weight sustained by his trapped leg, on examination: tenderness anterolateral part of the left knee.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

The AP X-ray view shows a non-displaced fracture in the head of the left fibula.

Case Discussion

Treatment, in this case, is immobilization by a splint.
