The largest lesion is located in the left lobe of the liver, segment 3, and demonstrates isointense signal compared to liver on T1 weighted images and no signal drop out on out-of-phase imaging to suggest presence of fat. It is isointense to mildly hyperintense signal compared to liver on T2 weighted images, with a hyperintense central region consistent with a central scar.
There is arterial enhancement of the lesion, sparing the central scan which becomes isointense to liver on delayed phase imaging. Central scar demonstrates delayed enhancement.
Case Discussion
Multiple FNHs may be seen in multiple FNH syndrome or hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
