H/o glass particle injury to pulp of finger. Anesthetist tried to cut a drug ampule.

Tiny echogenic partical is seen in pulp of finger.

Case Discussion:

Glass particle removed surgically.

US revealed hypervascularity with hypoechoic areas around foreign body.

However, no pus was present on exploration.
