A horizontally oriented wood splinter (6 mm in length) is seen in the wrist; deep to extensor digitorum. It abuts a bone of distal carpal raw.
Effusion with synovial thickening is seen involving intercarpal joints.
Case Discussion
The foreign body was surgically removed.
