Case contributed by: Dr Maulik S Patel
Modality: Ultrasound

Case Discussion:

Lactating mother with c/o painless lump in right breast for last 1 wk.

No fever.

Incision and drainage was done 1 mth back.  Scar is seen at 2 o'clock location reaching to skin in last image. She was not feeding from right breast since then.  Details of previous IND not available.

She improved and lesions resolved. After 3 wks they reappeared with skin redness.

Repeat USG - There were two smaller lesions. Non compressible.

I maintained same diagnosis.

WBC - Normal.

Aspiration - FRANK PUS.

So at least, 2nd diagnosis was wrong.
