Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM)
VGH Case 3
57 yo female with visual disturbances, headaches and expressive dysphasia. Visual disturbances thought to be secondary to lymphoid hyperplasia within the right the right orbit. Attempted surgical correction did not resolve this issue. PMHx includes Seizures, GERD, HBV, HCV, crack cocaine and speed use, pack-a-day smoker.
Dx:
Left middle frontal gyrus GBM
Tx:
Left frontal parasaggital craniotomy and total tumour resection
