Middle aged man presented with history of RTA and fall on face.

Age: 49 years
Gender: Male

Wide, displaced symphyseal fracture of mandible, with bilateral displaced condylar and right coronoid fractures

Multiple facial fractures noted along with guardsman fracture of mandible (symphyseal fracture with bilateral condylar fractures). Facial fractures include: left parasagittal comminuted maxillary fracture, bilateral anterior and lateral maxillary sinus wall fractures, perpendicular plate of ethmoid fracture, bilateral medial and lateral pterygoid plate fractures.

Case Discussion

Guardsman fracture caused due to direct impact on mandible results in mid line fracture and bilateral condylar fracture.
