Hepatic epithelioid haemangioendothelioma

Presentation:

26 year old pregnant female. On routine U/S done for pregnancy follow up, miltiple bilobar hepatic focal lesions were detected. MRI was done.

Case Discussion:

Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

 (pathologically proven)

Primary malignant tumor of liver arising from elements of mesenchymal tissue.

Imaging findings

Best diagnostic clue; Coalescent peripheral hepatic

nodules with target appearance & capsular retraction.

• Size: Varies from small tumor nodules to large

confluent masses
