This case demonstrates pulmonary cystic lesions in a 4240 year old patient with fever and cough, which were serologically proven to represent pulmonary hydatid cysts.

The lung lung is the second most common site of involvement with  with echinococcosis  granulosusgranulosus in adults after after the liver (10-30% of cases), and the most common site in children.
