31 weeks pregnancy scan and postnatal imaging

Gender: Female
ultrasound

Anasarca, pleural, pericardial effusions and ascites.

The placenta is enlarged.

x-ray

Babygram confirms generalized edema.

Case Discussion

31 week pregnant lady with history of absent fetal movement. US confirmed absent fetal cardiac motion and the presence of diffuse skin edema, ascites and pleural effusion. Findings are consistent with hydrops fetalis.
