The child delivered full term after obstructed labor
Bilateral parasagittal linear bands of high signal in T2 and FLAIR involving the grey matter of pre/post central gyri and adjacent white matter denoting gliosis
Case Discussion
The study demostrates gliotic changes affecting the grey and white matter of pre and post central area which is likely related to perinatal ischemic insult. The DWI (not here) shows no restricted diffusion indicating that these lesion are chronic.
