There is herniation of peritoneal fat in inguinal canal; reaching upto scrotum. There is no bowel in hernia sac.
Case Discussion
Young male presented with right inguinal swelling. On clinical examination, it was an irreducible hernia. Ultrasound was requested to check bowel/fat content of hernia. Ultrasound shows peritoneal fat reaching up to scrotum.
Surgery was done with few hrs showing odematous peritoneal fat as hernia content.
