Comminuted intertrochanteric fracture of the right proximal femur. Also, we can see fractures in ipsilateral ischio-pubic region.
Case Discussion
Femoral neck fractures can be divided into two groups:
- intra-capsular femoral neck fractures (sub-capital, trans-cervical and basi-cervical);
- extra-capsular peri-trochanteric fractures (intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures).
