Invasive ductal breast carcinoma on CT

Presentation

A 65-year-old lady presented to the surgical department whit a palpable lump in the right breast. She has no family history of breast cancer.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Contrast enhanced chest CT scan shows multiple enhancing spiculated masses associated with adjacent linear strands in right breast. The left breast is normal. There are no evidence of associated skin thickening, nipple retraction,chest wall invasion or metastasis.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent mastectomy and histopathology confirmed invasive ductal carcinoma.
