Diffuse edema in the wall of the sigmoid and descending colon, with typical thumb-printing and minimal pericolic stranding.
Sigmoid uncomplicated diverticular disease.

Case Discussion
This case illustrates features of an extensive left sided colitis, in this instance due to inferior mesenteric artery ischemia.
