Presentation

Surgical resection of a large descending colon diverticulum 6 months ago.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Gastrograffin enema

Fluoroscopy

Gastrografin enema shows complete opacification of the rectum and the remaining rectosigmoid junction.  No colonic masses or colonic strictures. No contrast leakage demonstrated.

Double contrast Gastrografin loopogram

Double contrast Gastrografin loopogram was done by injecting the contrast followed by air via an inserted Foley catheter through the colostomy stoma. No diverticulosis, luminal masses, mucosal abnormalities or strictures.
