Lipoma arborescens

An intra-articular mass with mixed T1 and T2 signal, including high T1 with fat attenuation is demonstrated. There is a large effusion with villous intrasynovial fat proliferation, compatible with lipoma arborescens.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a biopsy that confirmed the diagnosis of a lipoma arborescens of the knee.
