Presentation
Severe right lower limb pain for 5 weeks. Previous similar examination 1 month ago was normal.
Patient Data
The deep veins of the right lower limb from the distal EIV, CFV, SFV, deep femoral vein, popliteal vein till the deep venous plexus of the calf muscles as well as the LSV and proximal GSV are seen incompressible and distended with an echogenic thrombus as well as showing no flow within by duplex Doppler interrogation.
Patent anterior and posterior tibial vena commitants.
Case Discussion
Right lower limb subacute deep venous thrombosis (DVT) extending from distal EIV till deep venous plexus of the calf with extension to lesser and proximal greater saphenous veins.
